NH Hotel Group launched new “Mood Rooms”
NH Hotel Group and Philips Lighting have launched new Mood Rooms at the NH Collection Eurobuilding hotel in Madrid. For the first time, a hotel room can create settings that adapt to the specific needs and emotions of guests. Equipped with the latest in technology, lighting and sound, these rooms create different settings that can reflect and adapt to guests’ emotions. The new Mood Rooms are a pioneering concept that deliver a real experience for guests.
NH Hotel Group – Futuristic rooms
The ‘Hotel of the future’ is a concept developed by NH Hotel Group and Philips Lighting, designed around three parameters: personalising the guest’s experience, connected technology and sustainability. The central focus is Philips RoomFlex, a fully configurable room control system that integrates lighting with sensors and third-party systems, such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), curtains and room booking software programs. Using just one control panel, guests can choose their lighting and temperature scene based on their personal preferences.
The Mood Rooms are designed to be ready for whatever the customer needs, right when they need it. Thanks to Philips RoomFlex, which integrates control of the dynamic lighting with the music and curtains, guests can choose whatever setting they wish depending on the time or their mood, controlling the colour scheme and intensity of the light, and even the background music in the room. Everything has been designed to adapt to the guest’s daily routine and to provide an unforgettable experience.
What are you in the Mood for?
The Mood Rooms are activated through the question “What are you in the Mood for?” turning them into the perfect space for resting, working, exercising, meditating and even getting ready to go out, offering the ideal conditions for every occasion. Even in the shower!
Under the water, too
As part of the experience offered by the Mood Rooms, it is also possible to transform the shower ambience, depending on the needs and emotions of the customer. The Emotional Shower offers the opportunity to create a multi-sensory experience that includes sound, light and water control, for relaxing or energy-filled showers to start the day.
The new Mood Rooms have their own landing page where the Company explains this pioneering concept that offers an entirely a new experience for guests.
